Weeknight Italian Beef Sandwhiches submitted by Michelle Johnston

2 T EVOO
1 C pre-diced onions
1 (24 oz) fully cooked beef pot roast (think heat and serve)
1 1/2 C tomato and basil sauce
1 C fried pepper and onions
1 C mild pepper rings
2 T Garlic Powder
2 t Italian seasoning
6 Bakery French Hamburger Buns
Pre-heat large saucepan...I ususally use a large electric frying pan or crock pot
Place oil in pan, add onions and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring ocassionally, until onions begin to brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients (excpet buns lol) cover and bring to a boil reduce heat to medium.  Cook 15-20 minutes until hot, stirring ocasionally to break meat up.
Serve on buns, provolone cheese is amazin on these.
These will cook quickly although if you have a lot of time, they get better the longer they cook.
